Community building is not about being right. It's not a permanent state. It's not fucking enlightenment, woohoo, you broke free of the wheel of reincarnation, you are now a higher being on a higher plane.

Community building is patience and care and focusing on actions, not ideals.

Community building is a constant effort in being better. It's knowing there's a lot left to do, but acknowledging what has been done so far.

Community building is for those of us still here, trudging along, one step then the other, looking for joy and kindness in the wreck of our existence because at least we have each other.

Community building is moving forward, always forward because half a turn of the wheel in the right direction is better than being stuck pontificating.

I know, I know, you're so much better than me, than us. I know. You've moved on and this is no longer real to you, this is just a what if, a meandering thought. We'll be here, anyway, after all is said and done.

We'll be here.

Half a turn is more than it's ever been before.
